LANCASTER, PA — Steve Rotay, owner of Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling of Central PA, recently served as a featured speaker at “BuildingsNY” held at the Javits Center in New York City, according to a press release.
On March 19, Rotay spoke on the topics of protecting profits with emergency preparedness, remediation partnerships and business continuity, the release stated.
According to the release, Rotay addressed the essential elements of identifying disasters and implementing emergency plans and remediation as keys to managing risk, mitigating property losses and reducing loss of income.
"We are proud to represent our company based in Lancaster, PA in front of professionals in the New York property business. Paul Davis focuses on helping businesses plan for disasters as an essential part of their master plan," said Rotay.
“Property managers need to take the lead on these issues before disaster strikes. Disaster and business continuity planning, including establishing relationships with experts at stabilizing damaged buildings and post risk management, is a major responsibility and should be carefully planned and implemented,” Rotay added.
BuildingsNY is a regional gathering for property owners and managers to find solutions about lowering commercial real estate operating costs and increasing profits, the release noted.
