This year's survey question about "Average hours worked per week by the owner" shows an increase in workload from 2011 to 2012. In 2011, the response was 48.5 hours. This year, it is 51.6.
The largest factor affecting company revenue wasn't the insurance industry, vendor programs or marketing methods… according to 39 percent of respondents, weather was the largest factor.
