FORT WORTH, TX — Steamatic Inc. has sold a new franchise location in Ogden, UT, which will service northern Utah, according to a press release.

An industry veteran, Steamatic of Northern Utah owner Glenn Williams owns Certified Disaster, which will continue to offer its restoration services under its own name. He decided that aligning his business with the Steamatic brand would allow him to move his business to the next level.

“After 33 years in this business, I’ve seen many of the franchise systems within the industry who have locations competing against each other. Steamatic seems more like a family that supports each other,” Steamatic of Northern Utah Glenn Williams said in the release, in order to explain his choice. “I also feel that the Steamatic name and brand will help me market to the insurance industry.”

“Williams looked at multiple restoration companies when setting out on this new path,” Steamatic said in the release. “Ultimately he selected Steamatic as the best opportunity and the one that most closely matched his needs.”

After a two-week training course at Steamatic University at the Fort Worth corporate offices, Williams and project manager Jason Harrop have returned to formally open the new franchise location.

“Glenn and his team truly define a win-win relationship between a franchisor and franchisee. His experience and reputation in the industry along with the Steamatic brand and our focus on technology and performance will benefit the Ogden Utah area with a quality service provider,” Steamatic President Steve Willis said in the release.
