BURLINGTON, WA — Restoration Sciences Academy (RSA) has added classes to its schedule for its new three-day, hands-on intermediate estimating course, which prepares students for Xactware Level 1 and Level 2 certification, according to a press release.

rsa logoStudents achieving this level of certification with the Xactware estimating software have demonstrated mastery of key Xactimate concepts and can use more intermediate Xactimate practices to increase efficiency, productivity and accuracy, the release stated.

According to the release, the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) has also just approved all of RSA's estimating training programs (ES180, ES280 and ES283) for two continuing education credits.

RSA estimating programs are taught by RSA's Mitch Byrom, the only instructor in the industry who holds both Xactimate Affiliate Trainer and IICRC Instructor status, the release noted.

"We're the only facility that offers Xactimate training concurrently with a live ASD class. This level of real world training is available nowhere else," said Brandon Burton, technical education manager for RSA.
