Announcing the IAQA Phoenix Chapter workshop

PHOENIX, AZ — Accidents happen on construction projects and most restoration, remediation and reconstruction companies equip their truck or site with a basic first aid kit, which is great if you get a splinter or scrape your knee, according to a press release.

But you know more substantial injuries are a real potential: fall from height, a deep cut  from a power tool, a penetration to the abdomen by a sharp object, a pneumatic nail to the chest  cavity, a car accident en route to a project, etc., the release stated.

According to the release, when it comes to a real emergency, is your team prepared or instructed to do more than dial 911 and stand back?

Presenter Mike Simpson has 10+ years of experience providing tactical training and IED recognition and response training for military, law enforcement and security personnel. He has worked with over 200 different organizations in 17 different countries, the release noted.

The workshop will take place Tuesday, May 13, 2014, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., the release added.
