VANCOUVER, WA — The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) recognized staff and instructors at a Thursday night Instructors Symposium in Vancouver, WA.
The symposium, a special training session for approved instructors, is held every two years in conjunction with a certification council and board of directors meeting.
Special acknowledgement went to:
- Ron Tony — The "Old Pro" award
- Tony Macaluso — The "Most Schools Taught" award (taught 54 separate schools during the past year)
- Ron Valega — The "Most Students Taught" award (taught 1,558 students – exams administered)
- Tony Macaluso — The "Certified Firms Promotion" award
- Barry Costa — The "IICRC Favorite North American Instructor" award
- Kenichi Ando — The "IICRC Favorite International Instructor" award
- Barry Costa — The "IICRC Instructor of the Year" award
The IICRC-instructors gave a special award to:
- Lindsay Barlow, assistant administrator of the IICRC — The "Shining Star" award of appreciation
