VMA hires new advisor

NORTH CANTON, OH — Violand Management Associates (VMA) recently named John Monroe its newest business development advisor.

Bringing more than 30 years of related experience with him, Monroe previously worked as a sales executive for a Fortune 500 floor covering manufacturer and has a bachelor of economics from Clemson University.

Monroe’s hire comes as a response to VMA’s growing network of restoration and cleaning clients, allowing them to continue to aid their clients in developing professional abilities and sustaining profitable growth within their businesses.


 

Viking acquired by DCM

CLEVELAND — DCM Manufacturing Inc. has completed acquisition of Viking Equipment.

DCM, manufacturer of mobile HVAC and industrial heat transfer products, will keep Viking founder and owner Mickey Walker in place as company leader.

DCM’s air movement product line and engineering expertise complement Viking Equipment’s air movers, dehumidifiers and carpet cleaning products. Viking will retain its corporate identity and its current structure, workforce and location post-acquisition.


 

Powr-Flite hires product manager

FORT WORTH, TX — Powr-Flite has named Donald J. Davidshofer as its new product manager.

Davidshofer developed 15 U.S. Government patented products and components for vacuum cleaners during his lengthy career. He has held positions with The Eureka Company and Electrolux Homecare Products.

At Powr-Flite, Davidshofer will focus on the company’s professional vacuum cleaners, air movers, cleaning chemicals and solutions, and self-contained extractors.
