My Flooring Warranty gives thumbs up

Thumbs Up Hands

Sycamore, IL – My Flooring Warranty endorses the International Cleaning and Restoration Association’s (ICRA) new Performance Assessment Certifications, it announced in a press release.

In the coming year, the ICRA, a nonprofit organization of cleaning and restoration firms geared toward advancing the knowledge and professionalism of the industry, will be establishing assessment centers in various locations throughout the US.

My Floor Warranty, who helps join together professional carpet cleaners and retail flooring stores, has been working closely with ICRA while it developed the Performance Assessment program for carpet cleaning certification.

All new service providers enrolling in My Flooring Warranty’s program will be required to have completed the ICRA Performance Assessment by the end of 2015.

“Barry Costa, ICRA Education Committee Chair and his team have done an absolutely wonderful job complimenting the existing IICRC training program with practical, tactile and real world hands-on evaluations,” said John Mapes, President of Providence Inc. “I believe the addition of ICRA performance assessment certification will raise the bar in our industry on training and standards to such a level that when certifications are issued, they’ll actually mean something. They’ll actually mean you can perform that task or function with a level of proficiency that has been demonstrated and is predictable.”
