The winner this month is Scott Cullymore of Mister Carpet Cleaning Inc. in Mesa, AZ. Scott will receive a chemical prize package worth $500.

Scott describes this particular job: "A local paintball business was looking for a way to clean the carpet in their indoor arena. I was told that another company had tried but failed. Armed with my three sons, several helpers, a truckmount, two-jet wand and several gallons of chemical, we met the challenge head-on. After power spraying everything to loosen it up, we scraped it all to a corner and separated all of the big chunks. It was like looking at a room full of split pea soup. We extracted all the greenish sludge and drained it in the toilet — about 400 gallons worth. After several passes with the wand, we finally could see the carpet. The arena is approximately 7,000 square feet. The job took us about six hours. In a previous issue, you had an article about when to turn down a job. I say, show them who is king!"
