Restoration firm signs football star to endorsement agreement

FORT WORTH, TX – North American cleaning and restoration franchiser Steamatic, Inc. announced recently it signed former pro football great and current FOX Sports football announcer Daryl "Moose" Johnston and his wife Diane Johnston to a three-year national spokesperson agreement. Teri Hill, vice president of Steamatic''s in-house advertising department, said in a press release that the couple will help Steamatic, Inc. introduce its new campaign of positioning the company as "the higher standard" for cleaning and restoration services; the concept of doing "whatever it takes to get the job done" was a good fit for the Johnstons," she continued. Steamatic, Inc. President Lloyd Swiggum said in the press release: "I was looking for someone with strong family values, someone who our customers could relate to, and someone who could energize our workforce. And Daryl Johnston fit the bill perfectly. We were especially excited that Diane Johnston agreed to join as well." The former National Football League (NFL) blocking fullback and Super Bowl veteran and his wife will be featured in all facets of Steamatic franchise communications – from television, to print, to web and radio advertisements, the release said.
