ZANESVILLE, OH — Janitorial spending has become a political issue in Zanesville, OH, where the Times-Recorder included a letter to the editor Monday specifically citing "barber shop" griping by a school custodial employee.
The letter said the custodian was "upset" because he could not get new mops, etc., while funds were available through grants, etc. for major projects and emergency repairs; the author urged fellow taxpayers to seek answers from school administrators.
