JACKSONVILLE, FL — Marguerite and Mike Mumford, owners of Paul Davis Restoration of North Florida, have announced the completion of a major fire damage restoration project, according to a press release.

In March 2012, the $1.2 million fire loss was a high-profile incident when Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department (JFRD) responded to calls from neighbors about the large house fire in the afternoon, the release stated.

According to the release, the Paul Davis team was called in by the homeowner's insurance carrier to secure the property and contents, and restore the structure to the owner's specifications.

The two-story, 7,000-square-foot home with five bedrooms and five and one-half baths incurred damage from a fire that started in the breezeway and garage, while permeating most of the structure with fire, smoke and soot damage along with water damage, the release noted.
