For several years you’ve been told about the power of making short videos and posting them to hosting servers, such as YouTube, to build up your search ranking, backlinks and followers.
But did you know that there is a magic formula to making these videos more effective? Very few know about this.
With the information I’m about to share with you, you just might want to invest in a personal video camera and a tripod. And, for less than $200 and the simple system I’m about to reveal, you’ll have your online search ranking going through the roof.
No, it’s not hype. It’s years of observing video content and seeing what produces results and what does not.
And the simple fact is that it all comes down to four key elements.
Without these critical elements your video will not be an effective marketing tool… and you’ve wasted your time and maybe even pushed away your potential customer.
In far too many videos, I see the same method used to try to sell a product or service… “Hi, I’m here to try to convince you to buy my product, so here it is, here’s the number to call, buy, buy, buy, hurry!” This method is too pushy and too desperate.
If you have videos like that, do yourself a favor right now and delete them.
If you want your videos to be warm and welcoming, to get your potential customer to call you, then you need to follow these four steps.
- Pose a question
- Introduce yourself
- Provide an answer to the question
- Share your contact information.
Here’s how to put those four elements together for your next carpet cleaning video:
“Do you want to know the secret in selecting the best carpet cleaner? The answer may surprise you! Hi, I’m Joe Dirt from XCEL Cleaning and I’d like to share with you that secret. You see, I’ve been cleaning for fine folks here in Little Town America for 18 years, and the best way to select a carpet cleaner isn’t over the phone. Oh, you might get a good deal over the phone but, honestly, when you invite a carpet cleaner into your home to perform an estimate, he now has a better idea of your true needs and can offer a solution that best fits your unique situation. Not all carpet cleaners are the same and some won’t offer free in-home estimates, but those that do normally deliver a more catered service. Why do I share this with you? Well, if you’re watching this you want to learn information that can help your situation and if you’re in the Little Town area, I invite you to pick up the phone and call me. I answer cleaning questions like yours every single day and I welcome your call. You can reach me at (123) 456-7890 or by e-mail at YourName@YourCompany.com. Have a wonderful day!”
The script above is educational, not pushy and very easy to duplicate. With each video, pose a single question and keep the video under four minutes in length. By following these essential elements in your branded videos, you will increase traffic on the major search engines while keeping the phone ringing with customers eager to hire you.
